Is there such a thing as a Guaranteed Return on Investment?

Is there such a thing as a Guaranteed Return on Investment? Why yes there is. Let say that you had a credit card that charges 21% interest. That is pretty normal. If you were to pay that card off you would have a Guaranteed Return on investment.

Yes it is that simple. I see it all the time people watching the market go up and down and worry about the 5% they may make, all the while carry thousands of dollars in consumer debt on credit cards, car loans, personal loans. It doesn't make sense but what do I know?

Most people don't know that they can eliminate all their debts including a mortgage in as little as 5 to 8 years with the money they all ready make. It's true! Of course the banks love this. So why bother telling people, after all many will not even take the time to create a free plan to see if they can become debt free.

I tell people because we need to turn this country around. We live in the land of the American dream, but instead are a slave to debt that is owed. I hate to sound so negative, however unless people change the way they are spending money and look at what is inportant many will retire with little more then social security. in fact 95% of Americans wil lretire with little more then Social Security.

It you work your whole life let say from twenty to sixty and only make 25,000.00 a year you will earn a

million dollars. What will happen to it? Where does it all go?

Make a plan to eliminate debt, at least make a plan to where you want to be five years from now. Write it down. Look at it. Now make it happen.  Dave Ramsey is one of America's best radio talk show host on personal financial matters. Change your life for ever...It is your choice.

Holly Petraeus, Wife of Gen. David Petraeus, to Run Obama Office to Protect Military Families - ABC News

Holly Petraeus, Wife of Gen. David Petraeus, to Run Obama Office to Protect Military Families - ABC News

 - An article explains how some lenders are reaping up to a staggering 104.3% on cash advances.1 “Sharks” and “predators” they are called and rightly so, for like wounded fish those with less than perfect credit are being preyed upon at an alarming rate. I call it legal extortion or predatory lending. We live in money system that caters to the rich by targeting the desperation of those caught in an arena of financial woes. Playing the money system is a lot like playing against the house at the casino and—how often does the house lose?

We live in a time flooded by easy-credit offers. “Poor credit—bad credit—no
credit? Please do not be misled; there is nothing easy about it. A typical credit offer showed up in one mans mail on the morning of February 28th that boasted a no annual fee, 0% APR on purchases until October 2003, and a credit line up to $2.000. This offer might have been tempting to the man who fell one month behind on his auto insurance premium and was another nine months getting back on track. The truth of the offer revealed a 23.99% APR that would increase to 28.99% for various reasons. And the $2,000 line of credit would most likely, if you read the fine print, be only $250. In the same mailing was another offer of credit with a more reasonable APR of 9.99% but, —what about the fees? This offer came with an account set up fee of $29.00, program fee $95.00, annual fee $48.00, participation fee $72.00 annually, and additional card fee of $20.00—that’s $264.00 in fees above the normal fees imposed by the credit industry at large. Fortunately the man didn’t fall prey to either credit offer.

Whether it’s a cash advance or a credit card offer consumers are ultimately responsible for the decisions they make. Still, I cannot help but think there is something quite disquieting with the conduct of the money system steering our financial future. Creditors are taking advantage of consumers whose circumstances and desperation are plunging them into lifelong habits of poor spending. My personal conviction is that all those who plunder the unfortunate with unethical business practices, will in the end, meet their day of accounting. In the mean time though, how can we escape the grim financial future the predators have prepared for us in their money system? Simple—do not play the game. Say no to the cash advances. If you can’t survive on a full paycheck this week what chance do you have with a smaller one next? Throw the credit offers away. They are designed for the sole purpose of prospering an already prosperous money system. Keep your quarter.

TRENDING: GOPer calls Obama administration ‘corrupt’ – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

I am a Conservative, I did not vote for the current president, however if our new congress waste the next two years telling us how bad the Obama administration has been it will be a waste of our tax paying dollars and the reason for the change. What business does this have on eliminating debt and living a better life you might say?

If we as a nation want to move forward there needs to be accountability yes, but going forward first. Screaming about the past might be good politics to get a Conservative elected maybe, however I believe our economy should be first. I beg the new congress to focus forward. To deal with the issues facing us right now.

The facts will work themselves out, focus on jobs and support companies that keep American works employed. Clean up the bank mess and yes put in tough regulations on utility, oil, and banking. Core activities should be regulated so  that another Enron does not happen. Everyone knows how the past President and administration turned their backs on America so that a few could make profits, while thousands lost their jobs, pensions etc.

Lets not dwell on the mishaps of these people lets move forward with honest people. I know I can dream.

So, lets say that congress and the Obama administration,(and News Media) decide to fight it out, what are you and I to do. Get out of personal consumer debt. Number one item to focus on is debt. How much do you need to live on if you have no debt? Right. Next invest in oil companies stock. One thing is for certain gas, oil, fuel is all going up. BUY, BUY BUY. Both Dems and Reps, will not do anything to relieve that pain.

If you own a home do the small things that you can do to conserve,  It is 2011 make it a good year.

Oil's surge in 2010 paves the way for $4 gasoline - Yahoo! Finance

Oil's surge in 2010 paves the way for $4 gasoline - Yahoo! Finance - I can not stress enough how families need to be careful this year 2011.

The rebound with American Companies was not growth in the States it was from growth oversees. With China expected to grow 5% this year the US will see higher fuel prices. Again our government has failed to reduce the cost of fuel for us.

What to do? Combine trips to the store, plan your purchases to save on travel. This is an easy step if at the beginning of the week you plan out the week. For those heating their homes, look at ways to tighten the home up. Drafts, poor insulation is a major fuel drain. It is like pouring money out the window.

Invest in oil companies stock or a mutual fund that does. 2011 Gold is going to continue up and so are the profits for the oil companies. Jobs will not grow in America like other places. It is to hard for business to grow in the US, so outsourcing will continue.

Plan a meal or two with family and friends that live near by. These activities will keep you from going out to eat, and strengthen your relationships. We have a friend with a Wii and when he brings that over our family loves it. The Wii Fit Plus us a great way to get in shape at home and save on a gym membership.

Challenge friends and family in your own Biggest Loser Competition. There is a 30-day jump start program that is great.

Oil is predicted to hit 5.00 a gallon by 2012. I don't know about you but I don't want to spend my hard earned money on gas or heating my home.

We can do something about it... We need to group together and stop spending, stop running around, spend more time on things that truly matter. By one family at a time taking back their life by being wise and understanding what is going on, it will force prices to come down.

If both spouses work, look at the cost is it worth it? The extra taxes the two vehicles, the child care, eating out, buying lunch, extra clothes for work. Some else raising your children.
